About Our Treatment Programs
RECO Immersive specializes in treating anxiety disorders (including GAD, social anxiety, panic disorder, and phobias), depression and mood disorders, PTSD and trauma (including complex trauma), bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, personality disorders, co-occurring disorders (dual diagnosis), and eating disorders. Our clinical team has specialized training and experience in each of these areas, and we develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique constellation of conditions and needs.
Our treatment programs integrate evidence-based clinical therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and group psychotherapy. We also offer experiential and holistic modalities including art therapy, equine-assisted therapy, yoga and mindfulness practices, breathwork, and nature-based therapeutic activities. Psychiatric evaluation and medication management are available through our board-certified psychiatrists. Each client's treatment plan combines these modalities based on their specific clinical needs and treatment goals.
Treatment duration depends on the level of care and individual clinical needs. Our residential program typically lasts 30 to 90 days, with the specific duration determined by symptom severity, treatment response, and individual progress. Partial Hospitalization (PHP) programs typically run 2 to 4 weeks, and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs typically last 4 to 8 weeks. Our clinical team regularly reviews your progress and adjusts recommendations accordingly. We never rush treatment or extend it unnecessarily; the goal is always the optimal duration for lasting recovery.
RECO Immersive is distinguished by our exclusive focus on mental health (not substance use treatment), our small census and high staff-to-client ratio, our nature-integrated therapeutic approach, and our comprehensive integration of evidence-based clinical therapies with experiential modalities. Our Delray Beach location provides a therapeutic environment that research has shown enhances treatment outcomes, and our team of licensed specialists brings advanced training in trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and other specialized areas. We treat the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
Yes. Our board-certified psychiatrists provide thorough psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management as part of our comprehensive treatment program. Medication decisions are made collaboratively with you, based on a careful assessment of your condition, symptoms, treatment response, and preferences. Our approach uses medication as a complement to psychotherapy, not as a standalone treatment. We also provide education about medications, their effects, and strategies for long-term medication management after discharge.
Admissions and Insurance
Yes. We work with most major insurance providers including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Tricare, Magellan Health, Beacon Health Options, and many others. Our admissions team provides free, confidential insurance verification and will explain your specific coverage, including deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-pocket estimates. We also offer private pay options and can discuss payment plans for those without insurance coverage.
In many cases, same-day or next-day admissions are available, particularly for individuals in urgent need. The admissions process typically involves a confidential phone assessment (15-30 minutes), insurance verification (often completed within an hour during business hours), and clinical intake coordination. For planned admissions, we work with you to schedule a start date that accommodates your needs. Our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to begin the process.
Absolutely. We welcome pre-admission facility tours and encourage prospective clients and their families to visit our campus before making a decision. Tours can be scheduled through our admissions team and typically include a walkthrough of our residential areas, therapy rooms, common spaces, and outdoor areas, along with a meeting with a member of our clinical team who can answer specific questions about our program. Virtual tours are also available for out-of-state clients.
Yes. For clients traveling from out of state, our admissions team coordinates all travel logistics including flight recommendations, ground transportation from the airport to our facility, and any other logistical support needed. We also coordinate with your current treatment providers to ensure a smooth transfer of care and relevant medical records. Delray Beach is easily accessible through Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).
Daily Life in Treatment
A typical day in our residential program begins with a morning wellness activity (yoga, mindfulness, or exercise), followed by breakfast. The morning schedule includes individual or group therapy sessions. After lunch, afternoon programming may include experiential therapy (art therapy, equine therapy, or nature-based activities), psychoeducational groups, or additional clinical sessions. Late afternoons include free time for journaling, recreation, or relaxation. Evenings feature community activities, support groups, or reflective programming. The schedule is structured but not rigid, and personal time is built into each day.
Our technology policy is designed to support therapeutic engagement while respecting your need for connection. Phone and electronics use is managed on an individual basis, with designated times for personal calls and communication with family. During therapeutic programming hours, phones and devices are stored securely to ensure full engagement in treatment. Our team works with each client to establish a technology plan that balances treatment focus with appropriate outside contact, and adjustments are made as clinically appropriate.
Family involvement is encouraged and supported. We offer structured family visitation, family therapy sessions, and family psychoeducation programming. Visitation schedules are coordinated with your treatment team to ensure visits support your therapeutic progress. We also host family weekends periodically and offer virtual family sessions for families who cannot travel to Delray Beach. Our family program helps loved ones understand your condition, learn supportive communication skills, and develop their own resources for the recovery process.
Comprehensive aftercare planning begins early in your treatment, not at the end. Your treatment team develops a detailed discharge plan that includes ongoing therapy recommendations (individual, group, and/or psychiatric), medication management plans, community resource connections, support group referrals, wellness and self-care routines, and relapse prevention strategies. For clients stepping down to PHP or IOP, the transition is seamless. For clients returning home, we coordinate with local providers and provide alumni support resources to ensure continuity of care and ongoing connection.
